City Hotel Frankfurt/M - Bad Vilbel

Great hotel - great service and great food

The hotel is at 20-30 minutes from city center but the bus 30 has a stop in front of hotel entrance. The area is very quiet and calm, residential with several supermarkets, coffe shops. The lobby is very spacious and the staff so friendly, nice, and always smiling. The rooms are spacious, a bit old fashioned but clean and convenient and well equipped. Just that there is no English spoken channels :( Overall good hotel and value for money.

Very clean, sheets and towels changed every day. Large room. We have stayed several times, always the same consistent standards. Beds a little soft for our liking but that may be just us. For the price cannot be beaten. Car parking is in short supply but on the night there was none available when we returned at 10.30pm we found street parking nearby quite easily.

The hotel was clean and always had friendly staff greeting us. Most stores were Within 1 walking minutes away and the hotel is 5 driving minutes from downtown Bad Vilbel and about 15 driving minutes from downtown Frankfurt.

Cook unable to accomodate dietary request, no gym, no coffee in room, no bottled water for guests

I stay here once or twice a year when I go back to my hometown. While the rooms are decently sized for 2 people at the most, not much has happened in the form of a renovation or some freshening up. Same carpet, same curtains, same furniture, now scratches, scuff marks, and little damages are visible everywhere. The rooms are still clean but have a tired look. Front desk personnel was friendly and helpful and everything else is about the same as during my last visit.

Room is a little outdated... but comfortable. I enjoyed the cleanness. Great central location right by Frankfurt. I would stay there again.

I stayed in this hotel. Room and bathroom were clean. Hotel has good place for parking and also payed garage. Breakfast was very tasty and relaxing. Inside bar and outside places are comfortable. Staff is polite. Missing air condition, which is required if outside is very hot, more than 30 degree Celsius.

We enjoyed out overnight stay here while we visited relatives. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were professional and courteous. The restaurant was great and the food was too. Not sure why the breakfast was not included and was so expensive. 15 Euros each! We ordered coffee to the room and ate elsewhere. The one thing we have found is that most hotels don't have enough hangers in they're closets and this was no exception. This did not affect our stay but just a question.

Perfect for going in and out of Frankfurt; bus stop immediately outside (takes 20 min tops) Restaurant was excellent, and staff were top class
