Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis/Eden Prairie

Isabella at the front desk was so helpful with check In and check out. Also I left my Debit card behind by accident and Laurie mailed It to me. Lastly breakfast was so good with plenty of options. I recommend this hotel for sure!

Staff were super friendly and helpful.

All the doors and elevators functioning. The exit on my end of the building had the key entry broken, but I could still exit from it.

Very clean, very comfortable, very friendly staff! I wish they had a free breakfast, but the food was delicious!

Easy check in, easy parking lot, decent pool area. Clean and quiet. Only wish breakfast was included.

Very nice hotel! The only thing that surprised me was the slippery pool deck. My sister slipped on her way to get a towel. The girls we visited with in the hot tub said that the last time they stayed one of them fell getting into the hot tub (because the steps are slanted) and bruised her hip, and they witnessed a lady who slipped and fell hitting her head on the concrete wall! These are safety issues that should be addressed immediately. There is no excuse for this!

Our stay was okay. I forgot that Hilton charges for Wi-Fi access if you aren't a rewards member -- I became one, but didn't want to. I hate that nickle-and-diming nonsense. Also not thrilled with a $13 breakfast buffet that wasn't any better than what most chains provide free with your room. Conditioner was empty in the shower, which wasn't discovered until taking a shower. :-(. Housekeeping was annoying wanting to clean the room while our do not disturb sign was out. Highlights were a comfortable bed, spacious room, good location, and a nicely heated pool.

Very few places to eat. Ice maker not working. 1 elevator Not working. No kitchen staff for happy hour even though they were advertising for it. Very loud with banquet going on. Lots of kids running up and down the hallways.

One elevator not working. Ice machine not working. Said there was appetizer specials at a specific time but did not have it.

Location overall was easy enough to get to and was only a ten minute drive from the location of the event that we attended, which was nice.

Honestly, it was filled with several disappointments. The hot tub was roped off and under repair. The fridge in the room was plugged in but didn't actually work at all. The water pressure was really light in our shower/bath and the temperature got to luke warm at the warmest. A couple of lesser things were that they moved our room to a different one to be further removed from a hockey team that was staying the weekend, which was fine. The way she described it was that we would be on the backside of the hotel so that we would have a nice wooded view out the window and away from the traffic sounds. We were actually on the opposite side, so our view was the highway. Not a deal breaker by any means, but we were just informed incorrectly. The TV was very underwhelming, too, when compared to what I've seen consistently at other hotels. It was really quite small and a bit older. Again, it's a lesser thing, but still something to add the list of disappointments.
