Hilton Niagara Falls/ Fallsview Hotel and Suites

I used to like Hilton Niagara Falls a lot before Covid.

We were assigned a room on the 15th floor, and the noise was incredibly loud. My parents are both over 75 years old and were unable to fall asleep because of it. The noise did not become this severe until around 11:00 p.m. to midnight. After we contacted the front desk, someone came to inspect the issue and informed us that the noise was coming from the swimming pool located above our room. This is simply not acceptable for a hotel of this standard. We immediately requested to be moved to another room because my elderly parents could not sleep, and we had planned to spend the following day exploring the falls. However, the front desk told us the hotel was fully booked and could not accommodate a room change. Instead, they offered a $100 discount. While we appreciate the gesture, a $100 discount does not compensate for a sleepless night, especially for elderly guests. We chose to stay at a Hilton-level hotel because we expected a comfortable, restful experience. Unfortunately, that expectation was not met, and the offered compensation does not adequately reflect the inconvenience and impact this had on our stay.

The location was okay.

I booked a Premium Suite, but upon arrival, I was assigned a lower-category room. I had to spend time arguing with the staff before they finally agreed to give us the room we had actually paid for. Parking was not included, and the parking attendant was extremely rude and unprofessional. The worst part of our stay was discovering a large bug in our bed during the night. Instead of helping us, the hotel simply sent up clean bed sheets and told us they had no staff available at night, so we had to change the sheets ourselves. This was completely unacceptable, especially considering the price we paid. Overall, this hotel was a huge disappointment. It is significantly overrated and overpriced, with poor customer service and an unacceptable response to a serious cleanliness issue. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it.
