The staff were so personal and always a smile - Made my stay to be honest.

Thought my room was a little tired and bathroom dated.

Location was fabulous, evening meal and breakfast excellent.

Rooms need updating, they look tired. Carpets in our first room were badly marked and unclean. Shower had black mould visible, wouldn’t take much to clean it off. Towel rail above the bath/shower was loose - needed a disabled bar to assist in getting out of the bath after a shower.

Quirky location in close proximity to Cheshire Oaks and the Coliseum shopping. Availability of leisure facilities. Good food. Friendly staff.

Starting to look a bit dated - property would benefit from redecorating and new carpeting, and leisure facilities could do with upgrading. Didnt sleep very well on this occasion - bed was very hard.

As a native of Ellesmere Port I was surprised at how nice the location is. The hotel has good facilities, nice public areas and a decent restaurant and bar. The fitness room is small but nicely equipped. There is a pool. The hotel is close to the national waterways museum, Cheshire oaks and the M53 motorway. The staff are all super friendly and helpful.

Parking is not great but workable.

The hotel is close to all the places we wanted to visit. The staff are very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing.

I wished they had an outdoor seating area as the weather was so good.

Location

Not sure if we got the room wedged between the stairs, cleaning cupboard and the general toilets on the ground floor because we booked through booking.com. Disturbed by the doors banging everytime someone used the stairs or cleaning cupboard. Some staff in reception didnt look up or speak when we entered the hotel, had better welcomes at the Travel lodge. Carpet was stained in places.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the Air-conditioning was amazing. The first proper nights sleep I've had in this heatwave. The price was really good especially considering the great breakfast and the lovely swim we had the following morning. Also so close to all the restaurants and amenities at Cheshire Oakes and just a quick hop over to Liverpool Airport.

Nothing, we had a great stay and have booked again.
