Holiday Inn Guadalajara Select by IHG

The check in was easy and quick, the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the rooms were very clean. My only complaint was the traffic noise outside the hotel, whic if you are on the wrong side, can get rather noisey.

I was booked for 3 week but had to extend an additional week, when i cam in on the day for my first reservation to check out i was told i could stay in my room till the next day at 2pm but i had to change rooms the next day due to maintenance on my floor ... no biggie, then on the night before i was supposed to checkout at 2 pm at 10:30 pm they called me and told me i had to move now... i got upset i will admit , because this is not what i had been promised and i was diligent about making sure what had to be done, and someone from the personnel there made a comment about my mother in Spanish not knowing i knew some Spanish... something about sex with you mother and if you know Spanish you know my reference and the "young" manager on at the time denied it was an employee but it was. This occurred Sep 20th 2024 at ~ 10:30 pm and i hope that "manager" gets fired. I had to move out of my room at last moments notice when i was told i had till the next day at 2pm from the day staff and i did not appreciate the reference to my mother from the staff member. i will be taking it up when the "Real" managers are on staff

Some rooms had ac but no hot water. My room had hot water no ac. Thwy did exchange my room.

The staff was top notch. Everyone was awesome.
