Hampton Inn & Suites Charleston-West Ashley

Located well for our purposed visits to Charleston.

A bit musty in the halls.

The staff was great and the lobby and breakfast area were great! Anything other than the room itself was nice!

My room (233) was the worst room ever at a Hampton Inn. The AC unit blew out musty air constantly. The odor was terrible. The bathroom was the worst. The door wouldn't stay open, the faucet in the sink splashed water all over as soon as it was turned on. The toilet was crooked and jutted out. It was absolutely the worst bathroom I have ever had. For what I paid for 4 nights, I should have gotten a discount. I won't stay in that hotel again.

Elevators not working in a 4-story hotel:( Coffee maker in room not working as needed new filter holder , however, coffee in lounge 24- hrs. .

Staff very warm, friendly and helpful. I especially liked that there were small towel holders for hand towels so I did not have to leave my used towel laying on the sink. Rooms were comfortable, spacious and very clean.

Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, no bad smells or stains, nice showers with plenty of hot water and good pressure, nice swimming pool, provide an awesome breakfast, quiet place, we get a good nights rest there. They are pet friendly and have a place to take your dog to do their business. They also provide poop bags and a trash bin, so no excuse not to keep it clean.

Staff was great and very helpful. Location very central to anywhere. Easy to get around and lots to do.
