Hampton Inn Terre Haute

Location was good. Right off the highway. Near a restaurant and shopping area.

The hotel needs better windows to keep the outside noise out.

The property was easy to find. Clean with comfortable beds. Complimentary breakfast was fine.

The building is under renovation, which is good because it needs it. $75 per pet fee is too high--if I had known we would not have stayed there (my fault for not finding out in advance). Shower did not work. Front desk said "handle is just hard to pull out." Uh, no. We were awakened at 8:23am by a masonry drill (or some such) in the wall... don't know why they rented out that room.

We would love some healthy options to the breakfast including but not limited to veg and fruits, in addition to banana,apples and oranges.

Breakfast

Paid for 2 queen beds they were fills. Smell was old like possible an old smoking room in the past. Tub was well worn you could see the finish coming off the bottom. Bathroom door was paint peeling. And the room entry key was way way way to hard to use to open doors. And later in the day our room was assigned to another family. They were as surprised as we were. So the room was logged in as occupied at front desk properly

Love the new room, the look, it’s was clean. Loved it

The bed was not comfortable and the pillows was awful ( they go flat as soon as you lay on them)

Property is ok for an overnight stay.

Under construction

One floor was closed for rennovation and there was some noise from construction. That was tolerable. Breakfast was great, friendliness was great. Daughter was mad because she planned on swimming and someone pooped in the pool. No fault of the hotel. They did the right thing and shut down the pool.

Remodeled rooms very nice beautiful color clean staff super friendly
