Hampton Inn Terre Haute

I booked a room here and started a digital check in. Karen at the front desk wouldn’t let me transfer or check in early to pass the room off to my mom before we left. No change the card, change the name. And then head of house keeping at 1:20 pm said she didn’t have any idea when a room would Be available. We were in person, no way they could accommodate uncheck in or anything. We called the northern location and got in. The lady there said it wouldn’t have been a problem.

Breakfast was described on Booking as Continental, but there was hot food,waffles,biscuit & gravy, eggs etc. Cereal,toast,muffins and fruit. Coffee and juices.

Didn't like $75 for dog fee of 1 night stay. Also 2 sides of hotel parking area covered in truck trailers. Hotel room has seen better days maybe the trailers are full of upgrades.

$179 for one night is absolutely ridiculous. The comforter had a stain that we could only imagine was urine or blood. Room 508. When we tried to get breakfast, the heathens and low-life's swarmed the table and it was impossible to get any, so we just left. It didnt look good anyway. For a 20 year hilton honors member, we continue to be disappointed.

We had a comfortable stay at Hampton Inn. The hotel is undergoing renovations, so the lobby and I assume some of the floors are a bit tired. But we were on a floor that had been redone. Everything was new - furniture, fixtures, bathroom (except for the tub). Easy to get to from the highway and within a half mile radius there must be every fast food and chain restaurant you’ve ever heard of. My only complaint is that there was some traffic noise from time to time but given its location I think it is as good as you can expect in that regard.

Convenient location

Under construction. The beds weren’t very comfortable. The sheets and mattress pad didn’t fit the bed. No bedbug protection on mattress.

It was bad. Under renovation okay. They put us directly below a room you could hear banging and a bad chemical smell. The parking was inadequate. They had a massive gnat problem. Massive, they should repeatedly spray if it is that bad. A gnat flew in my eye even, ridiculous. The one elevator literally smelled like bad bad BO times ten. The shower had pubic hairs in it. I stayed and did not shower. The toliet had poo chunks caked in it long before i used the bathroom there. My sheet had been used previously. There was pubic hair on it and other debris. It was disgusting. I did not shower. I never write reviews. 150 for a Wednesday night in Terre Haute and it was way below any acceptable standard. Parking was inadequate and the spaces were tiny. Literally terrible.
