Hampton Inn & Suites Memphis-Beale Street

This is a great hotel. The staff is so awesome. If you stay you will love the check in process. You will love the hospitality. You will be blown away by the friendliness of the staff. They made sure breakfast was amazing. The breakfast staff was lovely. It felt like home. They staff told us where to visit and helped us with the itinerary. It's an awesome. Thank you guys so much.💯💯💯💯

The toilets are too low. My mother has a bad back and it was a job using the bathroom.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of an amazing trip across three states, starting in New Orleans and ending in Nashville. The hotel itself was quite basic in design but in a very central location, which made getting around easy. Our room was clean and equipped with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, which was helpful. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and spotlessly clean, allowing for a good night’s sleep. However, I did feel the carpets could do with a deeper clean. Breakfast was served until 9:30am, which was convenient. Unfortunately, if you have dietary requirements, the options were very limited. As someone with an allergy to scrambled eggs,and Ceoliac my choices were mainly a banana, apple or a small pot of yoghurt. One morning there was no fruit or yoghurt available at all, and when I asked for butter and jam for my son, I was abruptly told, “We don’t have them,” despite them being available the previous day. I also found the staff rather morbid and unfriendly, which was disappointing, as something as simple as a smile, “good morning” or “hi” can make a real difference to guests’ experience. On a positive note, luggage storage was available, which allowed us to enjoy the rest of our day exploring Memphis before our evening journey to Nashville.

The staff was very warm and friendly. The location was excellent to Beale Street. Easy check in and out. The room was available for a early check in. The down side was the white bedding top comforter had a big black stained on it at the foot of the bed. I could not understand why would house keeping put it on the bed? For the price that I paid for one night $220.00. I just tried to enjoy the one night I had and the first time being in Memphis in May.

Cleanliness. Staff very friendly. Location to Beale street. Pool.
