"Avoid this hotel at all costs!"

This hotel had steadily gone downhill; it was water damaged (flooded) on the first floor approximately 2 years ago. To say this owner is CHEAP is an understatement, aside from replacing the bottom foot or so of drywall on the first floor, they rolled the water damaged/no doubt moldy wallpaper back into place and it's held on with tape throughout the entire first floor (again for at least 2 years now!). The female front desk clerk is very nice, and explained that the owner is 'waiting' because he knows that the Hilton brand is going to make him do a hotel renovation...nice of him to wait so long, I can only imagine the mold/mildew/toxins that are an aftermath to this half-a@@ed 'repair'. On to the room, found crumbs and dirt all over the couch, dirty microwave, etc. As for the breakfast, the ONLY Hampton hotel I have ever stayed at (and I travel 100+ nights/year) that does not have oatmeal for breakfast - guess it's too expensive for him to provide?!

"Decent stay but decor was outdated, felt like it should be updated."

I liked the breakfast options, the food was hot and tasty. I enjoyed the pumpkin waffles and the choice between a single large waffle and smaller minnie waffles. I also liked the choice of grits and the omelet.

None of the outlets worked correctly, The outlets to the lamps were too close to the lamp base and I couldn't get my adapter to fit into them. The phone didn't call the front desk. My remote didn't work properly. Water pressure and shower head were weak, no spray. I had to stand directly underneath it to get wet.

Great hotel, lady at front desk is always very polite and accommodating. Pool is relaxing, breakfast is fresh, Suite Shoppe in lobby is convenient. Wish they had a hot tub. Fine dining in walking distance but also fast food options as well.
