Hampton Inn Detroit/Belleville-Airport Area

Very clean hotel in good proximity to Detroit Metro Airport & Ann Arbor. Would stay here again if our travels brought us in this area.

Good location. Staff pleasant. Room comfortable and clean.

I wanted to use the gym facility, but it was closed for renovation. I wasn't aware the hotel was under going renovations.

Bathroom doors in rooms are terrible. Barely stays close, no noise insulation and no fans, so one showers steams the whole room

The rooms were clean and staff spoke English. The hotel's pool and fitness center were being remodeled. The breakfast was available until 10am and the choices were good ones.

Booked a king room a month in advance, got into my room to realize we were given a double queen, called down to front desk to mention the mistake asking if we could get what we had paid for and was told they were booked out and could not accommodate what we had booked, I explained this was a bummer because if I wanted a queen bed I would had booked that and was just told “sorry” with no other options to help or how they could make it right. Will not be booking again. Also the black woman helping with breakfast the next morning was extremely unfriendly and absolutely let us know she was inconvenienced by us being in her way while restocking, as if she isn’t paid to be there and we didn’t pay to have that breakfast. Overall, won’t return and was disappointed.

I was all over the place when selecting a one night, Saturday night stay for a trip to Ann Arbor to move a friend into Michigan U. I’m a H H Diamond member and was using points for the stay and was booking a room later in the game. Some of the reviews of this hotel on different sites really had me holding my breath. Victoria assigned me a room when I called two days before requesting a top floor quiet room. She was very nice and very accommodating. We pulled in that hot summer evening and there was a Dimond Member parking spot open for parking, but right next to where smokers gather. We were very tired and just went right to the room with the digital check in and key which was great. Walking into the room the first impression was stuffy and drywall smelling. Oh no ! But they are just finishing up renovations of the hotel and it was a 90 degree day with the room ac unit not turned down and the fan on low. We were on the top floor. Once the ac was set on 65 with the fan high, the room was nice and the drywall smell went away. The room was nice, clean and modern. Not many channels on the tv, but plenty of places to plug stuff in, had a microwave and refrigerator. And I really liked the night lights in the bathroom. I was told the mattresses were replaced in the room renovations. Breakfast could have had raisins and walnuts on the buffet along with oat milk or almond milk. It’s been a good stay. Nice and quiet room we wanted. And hotel is new like. Nothing like in the negative reviews. We knew the pool and fitness room would be out of service, it was noted on the Hilton app. Family of four spending a hot summer night in room 337. It was a nice quiet comfortable stay.

Shuttle to airport was great. Front desk worker was very nice & helpful. My only reason for any less than 5 rating was due to current construction. I tend to be sensitive to such things because of asthma.

The property was under remodeling but was still very nice .

Property was under renovation but everything in room was brand new. Staff was polite and helpful.
