We stayed at this location while passing through the west coast of central Florida. The hotel is conveniently located on US Highway 19/27/98 on the south side of the “forgotten town of Perry, Florida” (as it was described by a local resident). Reservations and Check-in made easy using the Hilton Honors App. The room was clean, quiet and the AC worked great (an absolute must in Florida). The night staff was quite distracted with reading or homework?, and could have been friendlier and more helpful. Did not offer water on check-in after our long day of driving. She was not rude so much as she didn’t seem to care…about anything. The hotel facility is fairly newly updated and was in good condition. The area was a bit sketchy, but we were not bothered and did not feel unsafe. Other than that another fine stay at Hampton Inn.

I have stayed here many times over the last 15+ years. Usually love the stay. The rooms are comfy, breakfast is good etc..

I was in town for great granddaughters wedding. Ii did the pre-check on my mobile app because I knew my schedule would be tight as it was. I gave a 4pm arrival time but it wouldn't give me my digital key I was told to pick it up at the desk. I arrived at a quarter til and rooms not ready. There were 5 of us all waiting for our rooms (all king size beds) for almost an hour. Event was 20 minutes away. I am in none of the family pictures taken because they were taken at 5:30 and I couldn't get there in time. Some BS about maintenance had been working on the rooms and maids couldn't get in the rooms to clean? That's what we were all waiting for. Desk clerk said she could move me to a room with 2 beds so I said great. But she just left me standing there and never switched me. Just kept radioing the maids. Very disappointed in the experience.we can never get back those wedding photos. I am normally a patient person but at 4:40 I finally lost it and demanded a room with a shower immediately. Someone needs to be held accountable and I would start with the manager. I stayed at that location twice this past month and called 3 times to settle a matter from the first visit and she was never there. Not one time. The maintenance should have been scheduled at a time to make sure that those rooms could have been ready.

The staff was great, especially Mitzi at the desk. The only problem was some outlets and the phone did not work in the room so cellphone had to charge in the bathroom.
