Hampton Inn & Suites Pueblo-Southgate

Very nice front desk staff, but the room is in terrible condition. See the pictures of the crap facility: whole front of the heater was off, bathroom sink wouldn't drain, bed way, way too soft, there was strange yellow pus dripping from the bathroom ceiling and the roof next to our window was littered with beer cans etc. Our hotels.com room was the furthest possible from the elevator even though I'm a 70+ disabled guest and they wanted to charge for internet access, which wasn't disclosed when I made the reservation. Breakfast was standard fare but the attending staff was great.

Nothing at all

The hotel was just okay, but it’s clearly in need of a full refurbishment. The furniture was old and scuffed, and my bed sheets were actually torn. The bathroom had outdated white tiling and a shower that was yellowing with age. Most shockingly, the hot tub was literally filled with dirt. Based on this experience, I’ll be avoiding Hampton Inns in the future.

The location was a bit in a rundown area.

Was upset that they charged my card for parking after I left premises. Never told you had to pay to park. It was a regular parking lot, not covered, not valet. Do they expect you to park in the road or at another business. Never heard of such! You going to charge me the customer to park when I’m paying those kind of prices for a room?????

We were in room 411 and at 4 in the morning we woke up to water running. It sounded like it was right above us. It was somewhat annoying, however when it stopped we were able to go back to sleep. Otherwise our stay was great!

I have been staying at the hotel for at least 20 years when I travel to Pueblo, Colorado. It is near where I need to accomplish tasks there.

The hotel seems more "run down" in my last few visits. This visit, after arriving I asked to upgrade to a one bedroom suite and was told they could not do this because I had booked through Booking and not with the hotel itself. The air conditioning/heating unit in the first room to which we were assigned did not work properly. They did give us another room where this was not a problem. But the tub area has the evidence of being old and grout is stained. Because I have a history of using this hotel, I noticed it did not display as updated, yet the price per night has risen considerably. I believe I will look for somewhere else to stay on my next visit in August.

The room was a good size the bed was comfortable

We loved this property!! The room was phenomenal with no issues at all. Breakfast was better than we could have imagined and all of the staff were friendly, welcoming. We will stay here again!
