The Laurel Inn, part of JdV by Hyatt

We love the Laural Inn. We stay there often when visiting our daughter who goes to University of San Francisco. It is in a great location a few blocks from the Presidio and also very close to Golden Gate park and all the great shops and restaurants on Fillmore Street. The rooms are clean and bright and the staff is so very kind and helpful.

Super cute little place. A converted motor lodge in a good area, it was the most non-Hyatt Hyatt I’ve stayed in and that’s not a dig at this hotel or Hyatt in general, it was just different - quirky and fun and great staff. Comfy beds too. Bonus that Globalist benefits include breakfast across the street at Wise Sons, the bagels and French toast were delish and they serve Stumptown coffee to boot. 10/10 would stay again.

Positives: great location, rooms were big and well appointed and overall look was cool. Negatives: Towels and amenities were Motel 8 level. My towel ripped after my first shower. Shampoo, etc was super cheap, basically what you would expect at a value hotel. Overall...Find a different place to stay unless you like overpaying.

It was close to my brother and we got the room earlier which was great.

Unfortunately they do not have breakfast and we did not know that there were repairs being done right outside our window.

The Hotel is nice and Clean , bed is good,service staff & front desk staff are all good, Hotel all in a very good location. Parking lot is safe but in & out sometime you have to call Hotel to Open the garage for you ( if the main Parking lot is full). Breakfast is subcontract to Gym right across the Street so noicy & so many people not comfortable to eat there, Parking $52+ per night is too expensive.

Great location, quiet room with few amenities, walking distance to parks, cafes and restaurants. Overpriced for what you get.

It's an old, kind of run down building but the room comfortable enough and in good condition. Water pressure was terrible.
