The Laurel Inn, part of JdV by Hyatt

This feels like a home away from home. They provide great personalized service and the staff is very accommodating and nice.

The hotel is charming in its vintage deco decor. Our room was large and had 2 nice sitting/reading chairs, a small kitchen with a Illy coffee maker, half fridge, and microwave. The bathroom was ample with very nice tile and fixtures. There was always someone at or near the front desk. The location was perfect for us. We wanted to be near the Presidio. There are lots of restaurants and shops on Sacramento and California St. We used Waymo and never had to wait more than 4 minutes for it to show up.

Third night on the road, finally a hotel with pillows that we liked! Service was excellent, front desk folks - both checking in and out - were very helpful and friendly. We were going to pay with cash, but the points needed seemed a better deal so we went with those.

Beautiful, centrally located boutique hotel. We had a City View room, which was well worth it. Close to everything and a great walking area in Presidio. On site, secure parking.

The Laurel Inn is very consistent! Clean, nice staff always coffee out at the coffee bar in the lobby. It is a smaller hotel so it is easy to get to the rooms and you feel safe. It is in a great part of town, walkable to shopping, Presidio, restaurants etc!

The rooms are beautiful in a mid-century modern style with calm elegant colors. Coffee bar in the kitchenette is a nice touch. Great location if you are interested in the park side of San Francisco

Excellent hotel with a friendly helpful staff. Great location!

The Laurel Inn is a three star hotel with four star pricing. Pros: People are welcoming, the Inn has access to an excellent gym ($20 a day) at the adjacent Jewish Cultural Center, and the parking is covered and onsite. Cons: Everything else. The lobby and rooms are tired and dated. The room did not feel clean, as suggested by the trash left by a prior occupant. The Inn is located on a busy street. The “quaint” neighborhood is not quaint or close. If you are expecting a Hyatt experience, go to an upscale Hyatt property. If you stay at this hotel, your first thought may be, “A Hyatt, really?”
