what i did not like was the "double bed " was actually 2 singles pushed together .not comfortable and ver frustrating

Welcome and efficiency from reception staff. Size of room. Room and amenities were very clean. Overall an excellent stay.

The spa pool was good however it did show signs of what looked like mildew around the lower corners!

Room was very comfortable and very clean .Good size TV and other amenities. Close proximity to trains and central business.

Location is close to train station. Very convenient and also close to shops and cafes.

Every thing was fine I just could not get the air con to cool the room

My partner and I booked the mantra last minute for our anniversary. We arrived as there was a blackout in the street. We couldn't check in and we couldn't go upstairs to our room. Which is definitely not the staffs fault. Finally after 30 minutes of waiting we could check in and went up to our room via the fire stairs. This made us late for our anniversary dinner reservation. Our room was big and spacious with great lighting. The next morning we heard a staff member (guessing a maid) enter our room while we were sleeping even though we had a no room service room or room turn over with our booking. My partner and I ventured down to the heated pool, sauna and gym as that had drawn us to book with the mantra Chatswood. As we went to ask for pool towels the lady at the front desk advised us that the recreation facilities are not available, but we can walk to their sister hotel and use their amenities. Walking two blocks through a mall and using another hotels facilities (no card and have to be supervised to the rooms for access in and out) is not so relaxing. I was incredibly annoyed that the facilities weren't put on a *out of service* notice when I was booking the mantra. We asked the lady at the front desk for late check out as no one had replied when I out the request in with my original booking and she was very polite and gave it to us with no hassle. Check out was nice and easy and the location of the mantra is very close to transport and shops.

OK - a lift outage meant we had to walk 4 flights of stairs from the carpark in the basement to get to our room. OK for us as we are fit, but very difficult for others up narrow firestairs.Room was very comfortable and a good location to access Chatswood. Breakfast good but a little on the expensive side for a continental breakfast.
