Phillip Island Apartments

This is a really great place to stay. Location is great, right near Cowes beach and all the restaurants and shops, rooms are really clean, beds are comfy - loved having the additional shower head over the bath - and the pool and spa are fantastic. Would 100% recommend this place, we will definitely be back!

I recently stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment, we booked last minute and we were super happy with our experience! The view of the pool, gardens and local neighbourhood was absolutely stunning. I especially loved the spacious outdoor balcony, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The shared BBQ area was a fantastic addition, making it easy to enjoy outdoor meals with family and have a true Aussie holiday. I also appreciated the convenient back door entrance that leads closest to the water and easy access to the local pub and town center. I must mention the reception team, who were incredibly helpful and exceptionally friendly, making check-in a breeze. They were quick and efficient and welcoming. The cleaning crew was always cheerful, and a big thanks to Sean (or Shane), the handyman, who was such a nice and helpful guy and moved one-of the umbrellas for us. Overall, my stay was delightful, and I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable and value for money getaway!

There were a couple of areas that could be improved. I noticed bees nesting in a crack in the spa pool bricks, which was a bit concerning, and there were also ants in one of the bedrooms that needed attention. Some of the kitchen pans need to be replaced, the knives sharpened, and cutting boards provided. Additionally, my older kids had an unfortunate encounter with an older staff member who mistakenly thought they were being rough in the pool. In reality, they were invited to play with some younger kids who had asked them to join in and were looking out for the younger kids, returning their ball and retrieving their toys from the bottom of the pool. My kids, who are typical asian kids and are reserved and respectful to authority figures, felt quite awful about being accused of rough behavior when they were actually being kind and ensuring everyone was having fun (albeit they all were being noisy). Misunderstandings happen and it was a vey hot day, the kids still had a great time and loved the stay and our holiday, despite this unexpected confrontation. Overall, while there were a few small issues, our stay was still delightful, and I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable getaway with just a bit of fine-tuning needed for an even better experience!

No elevator which made getting luggage in and out of the apartment via stairs challenging.
