"Nice hotel in a good location"

This hotel is in an old building (1925) but tastefully decorated, with an especially interesting design for the lobby. It is in a great location, with easy access to many downtown restaurants and shopping venues. Our front desk clerk was really great, helping arrange things so that we could have same room after our two night personal stay and before a night that came with a departing cruise. Nice room with a spacious bathroom that incuded a vanity with decent counter space and a big walk in shower with rainfall shower head. Nice linens. Everything very clean. Very quiet. Comfortable bed with nice sheets.

"Lovely hotel close to downtown Portland."

Location is great! The room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the sundry as an option after a late concert at the state theater. Breakfast the next morning was also very good!

The bed was a little stiff for my liking, and I would have preferred more than one blanket. I wish the complimentary breakfast had just a few more options.
