The bed and pillows were terrible

The character of the building and it's decor was very clean and well appointed. Rooms were of a good size with no complaints.

Nothing to do with the hotel or the chain. The homeless and the open air drug use which is a local government controlled issue really turned me off to the location. Unfortunately I'll use another outlet outside of the city.

It’s a beautiful hotel-we originally stayed there when it was the Eastland and on its last legs and we loved it even then.

My husband is handicapped and I asked for handicapped equipped room.The last time I did that the shower had a handicap rail in it, this time it didn’t.

The flier we stayed on smelled very strongly of bleach, almost like we were in a swimming pool.

The staff at this hotel were not only unhelpful but also surprisingly rude. My friend and I—two young women traveling alone—arrived and asked the valet if he could park our car. Instead of a straightforward answer, he shrugged and said, “I don’t know, did you pay for valet?” We hadn’t even stepped inside the hotel yet and were left to park in the garage next door, which charged us a steep fee before we’d even checked in. At the front desk, we were given keycards that were supposed to work for in-and-out garage access. They didn’t. When we went back to ask about it, the woman at the front desk dismissively told us that yes, parking in the garage would cost even more—with zero courtesy in her tone. It genuinely felt like we were being treated differently because we were young women, especially compared to how we saw other guests being helped. On top of that, we couldn’t access the rooftop during our stay, and our room had no view of the city whatsoever. Overall, this was a disappointing and uncomfortable experience, and we left feeling unwelcome.

Loved the location and the ability to use the hotel’s transportation services. We also loved that it was half a block from the beautiful Portland art museum. Breakfast was a little expensive but very good.

More help to get luggage to your room when you arrive and depart. We requested it when we arrived because we were older and pretty tired ant that point but handled it ourselves when we left.

The staff were very helpful and the location was very convenient. Food in the restaurant was also very good.

The body wash in the shower was empty, the shampoo was almost empty, we had one robe that was very small (I am a plus size woman). I would have appreciated more amenities for the price.

Our rooms were ready early so no wait to check in. The bell staff was very helpful with our luggage and valeting our car promptly each day as well as providing shuttle ride when requested. The breakfast staff was also very pleasant and accommodating.

Just wished your location was a little closer to Commercial St where we ate each evening. But walking or using the shuttle basically accommodated our needs
