Palm Royale Cairns

Not particularly anything. It was okay. We battled with towels they were always taken by housekeeping so we had to continually ask for towels, we had no face washers for the whole of our stay and one hand towel. No plug for the sink in bathroom, the smallest horrible cups that holds 2 mouthfuls of coffee and no microwave. The best one above them all was we asked a staff member to direct us to the Cafe and he said I cant help you I've only just started work I don't know . On Tuesday evening I had a blood nose im thinking from the heat so my sheets had blood stains on them, housekeeping left those sheets on the bed all week. I'm also assuming that there is a lot of tenants that possibly live there on a permanent basis mostly aboriginals. Every night the noise from drunk abo people kept us awake also some dickhead playing a recorder badly all hours of the night. I'm not impressed with Palms Resort at all there is nothing much that I can say was great.

Cleanliness, staff very welcoming, pool super beautiful with real experience of the palm trees around, safe car parks even on side of the road, extra quiet and relax, only 10-15mins drive to city depending on traffic, spacious room and very comfortable bed

Beds were comfy. Shower heat and water was amazing

The property was a little old school but not worn down at all. The pool is second to none perfect for a dip or to relax by. Will be back!
