Park Royal Homestay Los Cabos

The resort is a 5 minute walk to a big grocery store which we liked. Initially we were given the wrong room. It was in need of upgrade. We completely unpacked and had meat marinating for supper. Then we left to go to the store to get ice. When we returned, other people were entering our room. The front desk had given them a key. What a security breach! The front desk said they had given us a studio rather than a one bedroom and asked us to move. We re-packed and moved to a much nicer room that had been updated and it had a better view of the golf course. The next day I asked if they would give us some small courtesy as an apology for their error and they flat out said no. The resort is quite a walk to the beach and when I asked where it was they just pointed in its direction. They didnt explain how to find the access to the beach.

A lovely place to stay. We did a lot of exploring, and this place was a good hub for that (also close to the grocery store and restaurants). I felt a little off put when I was asked a few times to do the "time share" thing, as I felt like I was supposed to be done with that at the airport. That, and how the front door did not block any sound, and we woke up a couple of nights to people having a conversation right outside our door at 2-4AM. Other than that, everything was great and we were left to ourselves. Service was good, the pool area was nice.

I think Park Royal is a great place. I will definitely return. The pools and staff are clean. Theres plenty of food and transportation within walking distance. The grocery store is a quick walk.

Nice size resort, not too big. Staff are friendly and service is good. Food is good and prices are reasonable. Location is close to hotel zone and you can walk to La Comer for groceries and restaurants. ATM's are close by as well. Uber to the Art Walk is under 100 pesos. Good for families, singles, couples, and singles. Not a party hotel if this is what you are looking for.

Property was beautifully maintained, close to markets, restaurants and the hotel zone. Great pools and common areas. The rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable for 4 guests.

For a Great Place to stay in San Jose Del Cabo Royal Park Homestay is a great choice. Rooms are spacious, well equipped and in a great location. Easy walk to the beach and shopping. Each of the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and pampered. Pepe' the Bartender/Cook does a Fantastic job greeting everyone at the Resort and making sure each guest receives the best service. This was our second visit to this resort and look forward to our next visit to San Jose.

Relaxing, peaceful Has 2 nice pools, one with swim up bar, 4 covered Bali beds, several lounge chairs, patio area with tables and umbrellas to enjoy your drinks and lunch.

This was a great place to relax! Property is well maintained with friendly staff. It has 2 nice pools and a smaller pool (that the iguanas had a swim in, lol) a nice patio area with tables and umbrellas to enjoy a lunch or drinks, 4 Bali beds and a shaded area to relax and read a book or two. My unit could sleep 6, full kitchen, 2 TVs and nice balcony overlooking the golf course. Short walk to the grocery store (700 metres) beach and restaurants. I wanted to go to a beach club and spoke to Nancy, activities coordinator, I wasn’t sure when I’d go. But when I did decide she was off, reception said to contact her on WhatsApp. Even though it was her day off she responded and gave me a few choices, even on her day off, AMAZING! Thank you Nancy! I chose to go to Veleros Beach Club, it was great and I really enjoyed my day there. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Park Royal Homestay and would go again, just felt like HOME. The only negative was the TVs, not smart TVs so unable to connect to stream off my devices.

Convenient location and great value

Facility staff were terrific-very accommodating. Wonderful welcome & communication with Nancy prior to arrival who also arranged our dinner cruise. Facility is older & lacks the amenities of other facilities. Rooms need upgrades & facelifts. Lovely pool. Small cafe but nothing else on the property, not a gated facility although it's set off by itself on a side street, off the main road. Location's quiet, away from city center so Uber is best bet to get around. There's a small mall/grocery store & restaurants within walking distance (we loved Grandma's Cabo). If all you want is a simple getaway with pool time, this works. If you want something nicer with action, one of the other resorts is a better choice.
