We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights (8-10th of June 24) over the weekend - great location and amenities. We expected 5 star treatment from a 5 star hotel and given the price we paid. I am diabetic and sometimes eat my own food - first evening of the stay I asked for a fork for the room, which was provided. The next evening, also around 5-6 pm, extra charge was asked for a single fork and complimentary fork was refused. Normally, you would expect complimentary cutlery to be provided as a standard in a 5 star hotel, which was not the case, hence my ask. We don’t understand the inconsistency of the rules at the hotel (which vary depending who is working at the Concierage) and why at a 5 star hotel I am charged for a fork? Absolutely ridiculous- spoiled my whole view and experience of the stay at the hotel.

We like everything in this hotel very clean the food very good and the location excellent very close to city center and to all attractions areas

The property is nice. The smell when you first walk in is like an ash tray. the rooms are sprayed with a horrible product that we had to sleep with the windows open in cold weather because of it.

Very things are very close

They put us in the Royal Club, psrt of the executive suites. The room and amenities were exceptional. The hotel is located walking distance to restaurants, cafe's, bars and public transportation.

Location is great for business travellers who need to see clients nearby. However, the hotel is a bit old and room facilities are lacking modern touches.

Excellent property

On Hotels.com, I chose a room that was advertised to fit 3 people. When I arrived, they stated it only fit two people. I also requested on Hotels.com to pre-pay for breakfast. When I arrived they said that’s not an option on Expedia - I guess it shows up on Expedia and not Hotels.com. Luckily, the hotel was amazing and gave us a third bed, which fit nicely in the room - they waived the $100 charge for the extra bed. The lounge space downstairs came in handy, as we relaxed downstairs and played Uno (they had free family games) with a new friend we met on a walking tour. The location was great - walkable to everything - shops and restaurants and tourist attractions. The restaurant was very good. It’s not a trendy, hip hotel- but that doesn’t seem to exist at all in Luxembourg. But it was excellent and I would stay there again.
