The Peninsula Manila

The decor and interiors are amazing! Atmosphere was great , staff were exceptional and go above and beyond. Friendly and professional atmosphere. Will be back again. Other than that local restaurants are great. Great for a business hotel or adult only stay.

Not super kid friendly. Location makes it tricky to walk to malls with a pram. You will have to take a detour to get to mall because crossing the road in certain places is prohibited due to busy road.

The fresh floral decorations throughout the hotel are superb and they really contribute to the feelings of peace and serenity within the public spaces. The staff always get a mention for the wonderful attention that they give all guests and this is deservedly so.

Spices Restaurant did not meet my expectations. The lighting in the main section has been dimmed to a degree where it is difficult to view the menu or the food. The noodles section of the menu gave poor results. The Char Kway Teow and the Mee Goreng were wet and seemed to have been cooked in the same sauce. The noodles used were not appropriate for the dishes they represented and did not come close to being authentic. I write this as someone who has often dined at this restaurant.

This is a rather late review. Have already reviewed this hotel several times for the past 2 decades I have visited , and stayed at this hotel . Special occasions , Lunar New year, birthday, anniversaries, Valentine’s, Christmas, the Peninsula has its own distinct approach of making it unique. My spouse had her Mother’s Day celebration and she kind of appreciated the experience. Staying at the premier suite , evening cocktails and afternoon tea at the Gallery lounge , and that awesome flexibility of the Peninsula time . Special thanks to duty manager Marian Sanchez for she was the one who handled my account and made sure everything goes in sync.

the room product is old fashioned but the space makes up for it.

The staff’s attitude and the fact that the air con coudn’t be stopped and it was very cold in the room. We asked for help twice, but nothing changed.

We have enjoyed the service on the third floor breakfast with Gezel and lobby Eric.

We came here after our Japan visit The hotel is quite old and very traditional Rooms do smell a bit musty and reminded me of Brunei in the 80s Our sleep was great Very comfortable Bar is friendly and has a good atmosphere We had massages with warm oil which was very relaxing Book ahead Found service at Spices slow but friendly Good location 5 mins from Glorietta Mall which has everything Breakfast at weekend is extremely busy You also cannot book a table but we ended up in the lobby having buffet breakfast which was actually nicer Hotel needs a big overhaul but can understand people like the traditional style of this hotel
