This was an incredible one night stay. The staff is amazing and the service is exceptional!! Highly recommended

I've stayed at The Peninsular on previous occasions & it never disappoints. I arrived earlier than expected, but the room was ready, on my desired floor overlooking Bonifacio Global City. Various members of staff recognised me from previous visits & I was always made to feel very welcome indeed. Jeff, Tim & Lloyd looked after me at the Pool Bar. Janna mixes the best Bloody Mary, in The Bar & Billy & Faith took care of me when it was time to check out. These are just a few of the names that I could mention, but believe me every single member of staff was polite & gave exemplary service. The hotel is perfectly situated in the Makati business district, which is safe with Greenbelt & Glorietta shopping malls a short walk away & within easy reach of the airport. If you opt for breakfast included in the room rate, be rest assured that a fantastic choice of food will be on offer & please respect the dress code.

The air-conditioning in The Bar is far too chilly!

Hi,In behalf of my parents stay last May 12,2026 to celebrate my moms 75th birthday it was beyond expectation. The service from the time they arived until they check out was remarkable experience for them. Ms. Marian Sanchez assist them all the way possible to make their stay comfortable. The splendid decorations and atmosphere overall. The staff everywhere were friendly polite and very professional.

The amenities of the hotel / room gave it a resort like feel. The staff were always attentive. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight, showcasing traditional Filipino delicacies along with the breakfast staples. It was conveniently located next to one of Manila’s major shopping centers. You really don’t need to leave the property to enjoy your stay in Makati. Also it didn’t feel far from the international airport.

Can’t think of anything.

I don’t normally leave reviews but this warranted it. I have stayed at the Manila Peninsula a few times in the last 10 years but this last experience will be the last. The hotel is pleasant enough on arrival but as you spend more time in it you realise the standards are slipping with staff and hotel facilities. I would not recommend this hotel based on the following experiences; 1. Rooms are outdated and the beds are incredibly hard making sleeping difficult. 2. The room service food was average at best with under cooked and over cooked food common. 3. Aircon is very light and the rooms are quite hot at night and the electrical sockets in the rooms are as old as your grandma. 4. Depending on the staff member your experience of quality service will vary significantly. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone and for the money there are far better options in manila such as Hilton, Okada, Okura or Conrad. All of these Hotel’s excel in customer service and have a far better food standard. If you don’t trust this review go check it out for yourself and be disappointed.

The lounge is beautiful, the pool, fitness room and breakfast all make for a great morning.

The Peninsula Manila We had a great overall experience at The Peninsula Manila. From arrival through departure, the staff were consistently accommodating and professional, creating a very welcoming atmosphere after a long international journey. We did run into a hiccup at check-in related to a pre-arranged request for distilled water for a CPAP machine. I had reached out weeks in advance and was advised the hotel didn’t have it on hand, but that they would ensure to pass the message to concierges to have it available upon arrival. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, and after 24 hours of travel and arriving around midnight, we were too exhausted to go out and find it ourselves. That’s where Jeff, a bellhop, truly made a difference. Without hesitation, he stepped in, went out to a nearby store he knew was still open, and personally bought a small bottle of distilled water for us. His kindness and initiative turned what could have been a frustrating moment into a very memorable example of exceptional service. We were incredibly grateful for his help and couldn’t thank him enough. Outside of that initial issue, the rest of the stay was excellent. The hotel itself is beautiful, well-run, and maintains a high standard of service throughout. Overall, despite the small mishap, the experience was fantastic and the staff truly stood out.

I love the ambiance and the place thanks to Gezel who assisted during our afternoon tea, very helpul and kind. Wonderful experience!
