Auburn Hills Marriott Pontiac

The breakfast was not worth $38 for awful tasting fruit and a small side of eggs and bacon. Room wasn’t cleaned, shower was full of hair. Didn’t even shower due to the state of the shower. Sink was also full of hair. I clean houses for a living and this hotel was disgusting. You could see hand prints on all the doors. Staff was very nice and polite.

Check in not very informative about hotel and options for food. Room was dirty, smelled like a dirty mop was dragged around the bathroom. Hair in and on sink. Toilet had skidmarks. Heat did not work in rooms, locked at 70 and blowing cold air, noisy at night. Service in the restaurant was terrible, waited 5 to 10 minutes just to get seated. And server had a crappy attitude. Food was decent but overpriced.

The in-room entertainment is garbage. Calling it outdated would be generous. I stay at Marriott properties almost exclusively, and this was completely unlike any place I’ve stayed previously.

Love this hotel! Only gripe is not enough tv channels, but that’s a minor issue! Very nice hotel and we would certainly stay here again!

Definitely not what I expected from a Marriott property. The room was horrible. Ceiling looked like it was going to collapse, huge stain on sofa, stains on walls, handle in the shower was broken off, so I couldn’t use the shower hose, bulb in lamp was hanging by a wire. This room should not be offered to guests. Elevators were out of order. The pool was murky. Very disappointed. I didn’t feel like dealing with getting a different room.

Shower didn't seemed to be cleaned between guests and pillows on the bed had several hairs on them (gross). Our shower also didn't have a shower curtain. Other than that, the hotel was very nice.

Had a superb time and would book it again
