We have stayed here before and it was good but this time was very different. Front desk guy was very rude when checking in. The room looked clean except the socks and toys left from the people before us will not stay again
Place has charm, spacious rooms and very clean.
This hotel was just fine but it snowed a day earlier and they were doing snow removal at 3:30 am right outside the hotel making it impossible to sleep. I would not stay here during the winter again
This is an older building and could benefit from some updates. However, it met our needs for a clean, quiet, economically priced room with a very comfortable bed. The hotel provided breakfast items, including "make your own waffle," fresh fruit, bagels, cereal, coffee, etc. The staff were efficient and friendly. We will stay here again when skiing at nearby Giant's Ridge.
I love to stay here for the breakfast, but my last stay was 5 days with only a “to go bag” breakfast full of bioengineered food ingredients and yellow-5. If that doesn’t matter to you no big deal, but for us meant no breakfast for a week. Next time I am calling to make sure their breakfast bar is open before making a reservation.
THE REASON I PICKED THIS HOTEL IS FOR THE AMENITIES OF A POOL, HOT TUB AND SAUNA.. WHEN WE CHECKED IN THERE WAS NO WATER IN THE HOT TUB AND THE SAUNA WAS NOT FUNCTIONAL EITHER. THE FRONT DESK TOLD ME THAT THE HOT TUB HAS BEEN DOWN FOR 3 YEARS!
Breakfast room was inoperable. Hot tub broken. Sauna broken.
