I had a wonderful experience at Wingate by Wyndham in Sheboygan. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well maintained. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to answer questions or give local tips. The breakfast was tasty with a good variety, and the location was perfect — quiet yet close to restaurants and the lakefront. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay that made my trip even better. I’d definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Sheboygan!

I stay here every two weeks as I'm a traveling massage therapist. I love staying at this place! It is owned by a wonderful family and I always feel welcomed when I come here. Warm vibes. When I stay at hotels I usually bring a sleeping bag and my own pillow but I don't need to do that staying here as the bedding is clean and fresh as are the rooms . I look forward to staying here every time I come to Sheboygan. Located right across from the whole foods of Sheboygan "nature's best" and just a few blocks from lake Michigan and coffee shops close by. Prime location. Thank you for treating me so well!

Very friendly staff; friendly atmosphere; clean, affordable and spacious rooms; steps away from great eateries and sights. I highly recommend this property.

Location and cleanliness

Didn’t get everyday cleaning

Been through Sheboygan quite a bit for work and Wingate by Wyndham is always my go to. Clean, Comfortable beds & hot breakfast.

No cable TV (only Roku streaming), no restaurant and bar as listed.

This location ruined our 35th wedding anniversary, we just wanted to enjoy some color changes, which we did indeed do, what a bad hotel. The location was good for the things we set up to do, but that was the only good thing here. The room was larger than most rooms, just arranged in some odd ways, broken up flow. We had some troubles within the bathroom and in room sink or (stink?). The sewer gases were coming up through the drain; we spoke with front desk and were told it would be looked into, nothing was done. I fixed the trouble by placing a plastic cup over the drain. The toilet was loose and rocked with each use and the toilet paper was in an oddly placed location, behind your left side. The shower troubles were glossy finish on the shower pan, not a good idea with water, and I have trouble with bad legs that are numb. I risked a falling each time I used it. The shower head water flow was non-existent; I nearly purchased a different shower head to use. The pool area has so many chemical smells it will burn your eyes and throat too. Plus, for what they called a hot tub, maybe medium hot tub. The color of the water was a definitely a total turn-off. The FREE breakfast was visited each day by homeless persons, that was just odd, manager did nothing to stop this. The area had so many fruit flies, we could not enjoy the foods, the coffee was okay for a machine making it. Some of front desk were very nice and tried to help us, but that did not make this trip any better. I will travel beyond this stop next time and enjoy the fall colors without the headaches.

It was centrally located in a safe clean environment

The area seemed unsave to leave our things in our vehicle, staff barley spoke english didnt ask how our stay was, room very small, door didnt open well, lots of broken things in the room windows wouldnt open, stained matresses, pool had no heater was ice cold, no acess to workout room no working printer, someone came into our room mid stay while we out only our for a few minutes and weirdly made our bed part way and took dirty towel out without us asking. Felt unsafe. The stairwell was nice and the eating area was decent. Overpriced for what we got.
