Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix Chandler Fashion Center

Super nice people, easy check in and check out. Nice room, good TV service and options, nice room layout, easy parking! Wonderful breakfast, best of most hotels I've been in. The room had an interesting smell from the cleaning fluids that gave me quite a reaction. I had to take allergy medications the whole time and had serious problems my whole vacation. They offered to move me though, but I muddled through. I hope it's a unique to me.

Great service and food.

Problems throughout our stay. 1. Booked a 2 bedroom suite and was given keys for a 1 queen room. Received two different stories from the AGM and the front desk clerk. 2. We had bugs in our room. Reported it and told them we would not be back till late that evening. Arrived back at the hotel and bugs were on the kitchen floor. AGM was not helpful and really only offered to cancel our reservation and for us to book somewhere else. At one point she went into her office and did not return. She called in another manager to talk with me. While all that was going on they sent someone up to spray again and not even 5 minutes later more bugs came out from under the dishwasher. 3. Was told by the manger that I would receive a call from the GM first thing that next morning. No phone call, reached out to find out the GM doesn’t work weekends and didn’t know why I was told she would call me. A few hours later I received an email from the GM saying she tried calling me and left me a VM but I had no missed calls or VM from her. 4. Maintenance around the building needs to happen. Expired hand sanitizer, permanent markers filling in exit signs, missing smoke detector in the hotel room, cracked closet door and floor tile. Still waiting for the Marriott points they promised me as well. How is this actually a Marriott property?

Closet mirror door was loose and it kept rolling of the rail. I also had to ask for extra sheets and blankets. No extra bedding was in the room.

Very happy with he service

Aliyah was an amazing receptionist who always went above and beyond to assist with everything we needed. The hotel itself was spotless, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly. Will return for business and would stay here for a family holiday!

Nothing if you run a hotel just know you have to deal with different colors. So if you don’t like black people you should not be in this business.

The staff

Directly across from mall. Room had oven and fireplace. Split rooms with bathrooms. Clean room, clean halls, quite. Different breakfast each morning. Great breakfast choices.

Heavy dust on window. No sponge or soap to do dishes. A little old.

The room was an hour late. The handicap shower seat was not level. Causing me to slip off and hurt my amputated leg. Thos is unacceptable!
