Hotel Review: The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment I arrived at The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans, I was blown away by the level of service and attention to detail. The staff was absolutely amazing—friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to make every part of my stay perfect. Every area of the hotel exudes class and elegance, from the beautifully designed lobby to the relaxing common areas. My room was remarkably clean and well-appointed, offering both comfort and luxury. Every amenity felt thoughtfully curated, and I truly appreciated how spotless everything was. The staff was attentive in every area of the hotel, including the gym, where they ensured guests had everything they needed for a great workout. Dining at the hotel restaurant was an unforgettable experience. The food was phenomenal—each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The wait staff provided outstanding service, and the light jazz music playing in the background added a charming New Orleans touch that made the meal even more enjoyable. Even the valet parking service was exceptional. The associates were prompt, courteous, and incredibly efficient with both drop-off and pick-up. This is, without a doubt, the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans sets the gold standard for hospitality, elegance, and comfort. I can’t wait to return!

First stay at this location- I usually stay at the Autograph/The Saint next door on Canal. Like the Saint, the Ritz is centrally located. I used Valet parking- David checked me in & remembered my name when I checked out. Very impressive. Thae checked me and upgraded me to a room overlooking Canal. Room was clean, bed confortable. Although I was on the 10th floor, I could hear lots of street noise throughout the night. When I return, I'd request a room on the non-Canal side. I suspect it would be quieter. I had breakfast & dinner at hotel restaurant. Excellent wait staff & food.

Wonderful stay in the French Quarter with family. My daughters' boyfriend and his family were visiting from France, so we wanted to pick a place that was in the French Quarter nice where they would have a lovely stay and the Ritz was it. It was Christmas time in New Orleans, so the hotel was decked out in holiday wear and very festive. The rooms were comfortable, roomy and nice. The hotel is in walking distance to all the sights in the French Quarter. The restaurant and bar at the hotel was fabulous. All and all we had a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend especially around the holidays!

This is just a sad, cramped, tired hotel with poor customer service. Plus they refused to give me rewards points because I was with a group. It doesn't seem to matter that my company (of which I'm CEO) was the group, but it might matter in the future when our group goes to a property that isn't Marriott.
