员工的专业素养令人堪忧，除了说I am so sorry什么都不会，很多情况下让我怀疑他们有没有接受过培训。我问餐厅服务员要一杯美式咖啡，等了半小时没来我再问，说sorry sorry忘记了。前台错误的收了我两次房费，我问她是否返款了，回答sorry sorry。我问她是返回到我的信用卡还是Booking，回答I am so sorry。英文是不懂的，除了道歉几乎什么都不懂。

Amazing spa. Friendly staff, very helpful

Very attentive, friendly staff, spacious rooms, comfortable bed, wide choice of breakfast options, lovely pool with most of the sun loungers in the shade (at least in the afternoon). Unfortunately we had only thought about Merapi view, but not about street noise when booking the city view room. After one night we asked the staff if we could switch to a pool view room, as the noise from the street had kept us awake most of the night. Our request was handled quickly and with no hassle.

Nothing we really disliked, but one thing to consider is that while the hotel is very close to Malioboro it is not within walking distance to the city‘s main attractions such as Keraton (especially considering the heat and humidity).

We stayed 4 nights and like the room outlay, service, cleanliness and facilities within the hotel. This hotel is well maintained and very near to shopping street. We like our engagement with the staff members, friendly and helpful. Kudos to them! Almost forgot, the breakfast was great!

Perhaps because I was traveling as a backpacker, or because I was new here and did not tip the porter, I felt that I was treated differently. 1. My Borobudur souvenir slippers disappeared while being transported from the lobby to my room. I only realized they were missing on the day I checked out. The staff at guest services did try hard to look for them, but in the end they could not find them. The slippers were not expensive, but they had special sentimental value to me. 2. When I used the hotel’s laundry service, the staff did not proactively return my clothes after they were finished. They only delivered them to my room after I called. Moreover, two staff members came together: one carrying the clothes, and the other carrying a POS machine asking me to pay immediately on the spot. In other hotels I have stayed at, extra services such as laundry were usually settled together at checkout. This experience made me feel disrespected, as though they assumed I might leave without paying. 3. I ordered food delivery to the hotel. After the app showed that it had arrived, I went to the front desk myself, only to find that my order was not there. After I informed the staff, I had to wait at least another 10 minutes before someone finally brought my food in from outside the hotel. I do not believe the service here lives up to the so-called five-star standard, and I will not stay here again in the future.
