Travelodge by Wyndham Clearlake

I got therecat 1030 am i had early check in it was 85 outside i knew it was going to be hot thats why i got a place with a pool. The pool was closed and was being used as a starage place. There was cobwebs in my bathromm hair in the drain cigarette burn marks all over the tub. The extra lock on the door was ripped off sheets staind and dirty. When i got there there was a man in the office coughing bad sores all over his legs in a very small office and the office guy didnt even clean up the mess.

It wasnt what I expected. The microwave smelled like popcorn when we didnt use it. The phone line was disconnected( we didn't realize it was unplugged until we went to sleep). The computer chair had 2 broken wheels on it. There was tape on the ceiling. There was a white patch on the wall while the rest of the wall was blue like there was a hole there. There was a hole(burnt like) on the shower curtain. Tv control wasn't working with the tv other than power on/off. Tv turned off on its own.

Check in was easy, but beyond that, it was not positive. The room smelt aweful when we walked in, there were spiders in the sink, the shower curtain was falling off the wall, the bed sheet had holes. We had reservations for 3 nights prepaid. We removed our belongings after night 2, but ended up needing the room on night 3. They had locked us out of the room. At midnight we had to pound on the window to get a new key. The owner refused to give us a receipt. I was very disappointed This is a Wyndham hotel, yet does not have the standards of a wyndham. I would never recommend this hotel and Wyndham should reevaluate their site

Worst place ever got room upstairs with two pets and air did not work at all 85 degrees he came upstairs and said reset it this went on for about two hours we left worst service ever

My stay at Travelodge by Wyndham Clearlake was the WORST experience I have ever had in a motel, hotel, or hostel. The person who checked me in was noncommunicative and tried to short me one room: I had booked three rooms, and he only checked out two to me (even though my credit card had been charged for three rooms earlier in the day); when I told him that I had booked three rooms, he ignored me. He also ignored me when I questioned why I incurred an additional charge on my credit card without notice (I received an alert from my phone). In addition to the terrible service, the rooms were filthy and unsafe. There were holes in the walls, the door frame was broken (it looked as though the door had been kicked in; pieces of the door frame were in the corner of one room), the floor boards were peeling up from the ground, the walls were filthy, the bathtub was dirty, the rooms smelled terrible, the blinds/shutters would not stay closed...

Would not stay here again

This is a horrible place to stay. The man behind the desk is absolutely rude. I made a mistake by booking the wrong hotel thinking it was the other side of the lake. He said he would refund if I called booking.com. I did, and then he said the manager could only refund me. I did not stay there. I was scared someone would steal my catalytic converter, or my car would get broken into. I left and went back the next day to talk to the manager. Well, come to find out the manager doesn't work there. It was the same man as the night before. Rude as hell and kept telling me lies. This place is dirty just from the looks of the outside. I lost 116.00. Spend your money somewhere else. It was stinky just in the check-in office. I dont even wanna know what the rooms look like. It is a very sketchy place with weird night activities going on.

I liked that I did NOT stay in that crappy hotel. It is a run-down hole in the wall. I'm surprised that travel lodge is okay with this place.
