Travelodge by Wyndham Great Bend

Mattress was broken down. Service was ok but the key card took several minutes and many swipes to work. Asked for non Smoking and was put in a smoking room that reeked so bad I had to leave the door open which didn’t help much. No ironing board, worn carpet and comforter. Very uncomfortable stay.

The hotel was dirty and reaked of cigarette smoke. I will not stay there again.

Trip was good. Hotel is just pretty rough for the price. Same price as large chains that are new builds but they were all booked. Ceiling tiles were water damaged and falling in, non smoking room had been smoked in, sink faucet only ran hot water. Staff was nice but hotel needs to up its game or lower it’s price.

Staff was friendly, room was clean, parking was a slight problem when the restaurant next door was busy. Only real issue was the noise because motel is so close to the highway.

The room smelled of stale, old smoke. Being less than 100 feet from a busy US highway made earplugs mandatory to sleep.

Bed was comfortable, room could have been cleaner, bed skirt was crooked, had no towels in room, husband called front office was brought towels promptly and apologized for there being no towels. Not a bad place to stay.

The hotel is very close to a main street & adjacent to a restaurant, so very noisy till after mid-night. The parking is very limited due to the restaurant. The curb to the sidewalk going into the room was extremely high for people with disabilities or walking issues like myself as I just had a knee replacement done. Not enough blankets on the bed. Toilet seat was very loose, I tried tightening but it wouldn't hold.
