Nasty fingernail cuttings, hair on the floor, toothpaste on the walls, broken TVs. This hotel is not like other Marriotts. I always stayed at Marriott’s because they were trusted, but this one broke that. I was put into a room in the B unit and walking in it immediately smelled like marijuana. The water pressure in the room was terrible. Couldn’t even get the soap off my hands. There were hairs everywhere. The place had not been vacuumed. The windows were broken so if anybody could push them from the outside. It was a ground floor unit. I noticed it when trying to open the windows to get the marijuana smell out. I asked the front desk to be moved once I saw the fingernail clippings on the floor. She acted like she was mad at me! She moved me to another building but deactivated my keys, which left me locked out. She didn’t say a word when I went to the other building to try to look for my new room. The room in the new building had 2 broken TVs. There were hairs all over the floor, and an Oreo cookie smashed under my headboard. So much more can be said about how disgusting I felt leaving this hotel. Please management do something. Literally most of these problems could be taken care of with the vacuum . I don’t even care that the hotel was outdated. Just vacuum . This is not the way Marriott’s are supposed to be.

Do not come here, both the facility and its staff are awful. First off, the B bottom lobby smelt like marijuana, my room smelt like seafood and there was trash all over my floor. Then the staff were rude and unkind when I politely asked for help at the breakfast area.

I got kicked out for no reason and nobody reimbursed me for days not stayed. And this wasn’t the first time. I won’t be back!! Your manager has a problem with me because I don’t know what I can do

Tammy and Delois were absolutely WONDERFUL!! Very kind, nice and welcoming! Their friendliness made the other issues I had not that big of a deal which I’m going to keep to myself this time all except… the phone not work in my room 230!!!

Breakfast was great and the staff quickly augmented when things got low. Friendly folks!

DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE TO BE TREATED RUDELY. Front desk was hostile to me because their signature pad did not work on the credit card machine at check in and the desk attendant blamed me for this. When I submitted the issue to Marriott, the staff at Towne Place Suites doubled down and said their credit card machines are state of the art and did not address the hostile behavior. Go to a hotel where they treat the guests with courtesy. The Mobile Marriott is just down the street and much nicer with a bar and restaurant. The staff at Mobile Marriott are very nice to the guests.
