De omgeving was lekker rustig

Bed is zacht en erg klein. De grond kraakt overal als je loopt. Ontbijt was weinig te eten als je geen gebakken eieren lust. Parkeerplek hoor je van de medewerkster achter de balie dat je auto mag staan zoals zij zegt. Maar de volgende dag hadden we een bekeuring. En het hotel doet dan niks voor je.

The parking was a huge bonus. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful. Location wise, it was about a 12 minute drive from the railway station in Newcastle where we picked up a hire car so very good.

The restaurant and bar food menus were very limited, ie burgers and carb laden choices. The sides choices contained no salad or vegetable choices making it a very unhealthy place to eat each night. We would have ventured out to eat but were far too tired after being out all day exploring the area and there were not many local restaurants nearby.
