Elk + Avenue Hotel

The location. Lobby was big and convenience. Restaurant, coffeshop, hotelshop

1. The bedsheet was not iron. As we came in and open the blanket, the bedsheet was wrinkled all over. Also the pillow cover. We could not be sure whether it was changed or not. Wa took fotos and showed it to the front desk. The answer was, “it is new, but we never iron the bedsheet and pillow covers. So directly out of the drier we put it on the bed”. When I asked is that the standard of the hotel, she said yes. I ‘ve been traveling all over the world and stayed at various hotels, but never had this experienced before. As a new guest the bedsheets were alway clean and ironed, so that we can be sure it was changed with a new one.

The staff at the Elk +Ave are amazing! I would say probably the most helpful and friendly of any hotel I have ever stayed at. In addition when they say dog friendly they mean it! The location is excellent and the restaurant and coffee shop on location were excellent.

I only wish we could have stayed longer!
