Hotel Britania Art Deco Lisboa

The Hotel Britania is wonderful!! Great location, very large and comfortable guest room, and a terrific breakfast in a very pretty room. It is really a perfect hotel. We want to give a special shout out to the staff. We arrived without luggage because well BA had a meltdown in London. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful to us. Shout out to Larissa and Sonia (and I know there were other staff members I am sorry I don't have your names) who were so kind to us as we occupied the lobby in a complete panic. They gave us toiletries to get through the evening and let us check out late the following day so that we had time to power shop new wardrobes and toiletries before getting on our cruise. We hope to return to Lisbon to enjoy a longer stay at the Britania! With luggage the next time

What a great stylish hotel. Sonia, the receptionist was always a delight to deal with. The barman, Jose was the same Th hotel itself is a beautiful homage to Art Deco styling. Some lovely touches were bottomless Port on the bar and in the room. Afternoon tea/coffee and cakes. All free. Superb rooms and a faultless breakfast adds to the great experience.

The classic Art Deco style, which has remained unchanged over time and is particularly well-maintained. The friendliness of the staff, the attention to detail in the cleanliness, and the way I was treated – on my birthday, they offered us a glass of sparkling wine at breakfast to toast the occasion, and I blew out a candle on the pastel de nata; they also left a bottle of sparkling wine in my room, courtesy of the hotel
