We did not stay at the Royal Tanau as it was closing for season end, but we were relocated to the Eurostar La Pleta, which was amazing overall. Very nice service, every detail very well looked after. Smooth van service to the ski lift

Spent a skiing weekend with the family. Everything was great about this hotel, but the service of the staff was exceptional! They helped with every little thing, from carrying equipment to getting me diesel when my car ran out of it. Physically, the hotel is modern, the rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and with lots of options. Chairlift directly to the 1800 base is 100m from the hotel. On the way back, you can come back by the same chairlift, or ski all the way down to across the road from it. Renal shop in front of the hotel.

The hotel could not be located better. Unfortunately, the quality of the breakfast and restaurant is rather poor. Also, the common areas where taken over by an unruly crowd of children from the next door apartments which made it impossible to enjoy a bit of quiet after a day of skiing.

Great Hotel, probably one of the best of Baqueira. Excellent customer orientation, nice installations. Modern rooms, great breakfast. All we need to expend some skiing days in family. Convenient located near to ski seat lift (100m). Optional spa and garage on demand to convenient park the car. And the best of all, the personel, very professional and efficient. Highly recommended.

We choose an apartment looking for more space and Melia’s quality standards but it didn’t happen. The apartment was in a terrible shape, dark, full of black flies, with a broken mirror in the bathroom, no phone to call reception, the cleaning lady forgot all the dirty sheets... when we explain it at reception we were told to book a better apartment next year. How am I supposed to know the good apartment? If I book through Melia is because I understand the would rent high quality apartment no what we got. The swimming pool is too small, no place for parents...... Breakfast was always too busy and too little staff.

The best option for a holiday in the snow in Spain. the best location, near the ski lifts. The services of the hotel, the kitchen, the tranquility are the best that can be found. It's the fourth or fifth time I've stayed here and I'm sure we'll be back

Nice Hotel, , rooms excellent, Reception/Hall Porter staff fantastic. bar & restaurant service.... was generally good, apart from one member of staff in the restaurant who was predominately rude, dismissive & just difficult......... but that was not our biggest issue........ The food was our biggest issue,( not Breakfast this was excellent) we never had a hot meal at dinner & when I say never I mean every evening meal was either luke warm or cold. We stayed for 6 days in a party of 7 adults, the style of food service for dinner is Al La Carte, the choice on the menu was very good & well balanced, the ingredients used in the menu dishes was high quality.............BUT the ability to cook the food to the correct degree, serve the dishes hot & at the same time, was beyond the capabilities of either the Kitchen, I would say that is a basic requirement for any restaurant food service. We did address this issue with the duty manager after the 3rd evening of sending various dishes back & we were told " When the hotel was built, they put the kitchen 3 floors below the restaurant & its very difficult to get hot food up from the kitchen............ But we will try our best".......... Well guess what...we still had cold food! Service in the Restaurant was not helped by the lack of staff...they always seamed to be run off their feet & the restaurant never seamed to be really busy........ may be they were too busy running up & down between the 3 floors...with our cold food? We have found a fantastic Hotel/Catered Chalet just 3 minutes walk away for next year...I would suggest that you do the same............. unless you like COLD FOOD xx

Very bad service all through. Gloomy atmosphere at dinner time. Very busy at breakfast time with lack of staff and un-friendliness. Swimming area for family is a joke! Small, cold, dark, no sitting area for parents.

This hotel is in the perfect location for the slopes as it is just 100m from a lift, ticket kiosk, ski hire shops and a couple of bars. The service, staff, rooms, food and overall ambiance was amazing. Absolutely recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning.
