Nara Hotel

日本の古き良き木造建築を綺麗に管理されていて圧巻でした。駅からは近くないですが、奈良公園を観光するには立地も良いです。

外国の方をゲストとして一緒に宿泊したのですが、ほとんどのスタッフが英語が堪能ではなく、ほとんど話せませんという態度で対応されていたのが残念でした。 海外からの観光客も多いはずの奈良で、奈良ホテルなら間違いないと宿泊しましたが、サービスは一流と感じられませんでした。 チェックアウト後ドアを出て車に大きな荷物を乗せる際も、誰も出てこられず自分達で乗せて帰りました。

ホテルの持つクラシカルな雰囲気、設置場所、ホスピタリティ……大満足です！

The outside was pretty and that’s about all I liked

I’ll start with the fact that there was a dead cockroach stuck to some sticky paper laying on the floor next to our bed (photo attached. I moved it to the balcony the balcony). They don’t respond to messages via bookings. A pot of tea costs 20 US dollars and a 20 dollar glass of wine is less than a quarter filled. It was a nice perk that they have a shuttle - but he took us to the wrong train station when we were very specific. The whole hotel is a train wreck. I would never recommend to anyone. It was the worst place we stayed in Japan and one of the worst I’ve ever stayed at.

空室がありグレードアップしたお部屋がとても良かった。歴史を知れる工夫もあって良かった。 ウエルカムドリンクも時間制限はあったものの、フリーで味も良かったです。

お風呂がユニットのお部屋が多い。

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at especially considering the price. The biggest complaint was there was a cockroach stuck to some sticky paper just laying on the ground next to our bed. There were other issues- we sent two messages to the hotel before arriving and they just don’t bother answering. A tea pot is 20 dollars. And the 20 dollar glass of wine was less than a quarter of the glass full. Finally the shuttle took us to the wrong train station and specifically asking for the Nara JR station. I don’t normally write negative reviews but this place is a disaster and I would recommend thinking twice before staying here.
