The Manor Elstree

Absolutely fantastic stay. First time away no children and not needing a baby sitter in 25 years. We wanted to stay over for the challenge cup final at Wembley and make a nice night of it. Work priorities changed and we were able to get away a night earlier. So I rang and spoke to a fantastic lady who sorted it all out for us. This wonderful lady was Jo and she made a fantastic stay even better! The room was immaculate, had lots of little extras, coffee maker, hairdryer, fridge, little vanity sets and potions and lotions, the bed so comfy - we slept better than we do at home! It was peaceful, quiet and extremely relaxing. The breakfast was delicious, the evening meal scrumptious, the whole hotel smelt amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Was lovely to hear the birds and the serene woodland view from our room and restaurant and outdoor seating area. You get what you pay for and for a hotel less than an hour from Wembley (on public transport) The Manor is fantastic value for money. Massive thank you to Jo and Mark and the front of house lady Friday night. Well actually thank you to all the staff as you made our little break fantastic and very memorable for the right reasons. We will be back!

Beautiful building and grounds

Uncomfortable lumpy mattress and pillows. Room looking a bit rough around the edges, tired-looking. Bathroom sink cracked.

All.Was perfect!

The receptionist was extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless as was the bed linen. Very comfortable bed. Everything was perfect.
