"Exceptional"

The house and grounds are spectacular. The staff -- throughout -- were very attentive. The dinner menu was not extensive but very high quality. And the breakfast menu was large. It is in a rather remote spot and the signage is poor (often well hidden by vegetation). So that getting there is a bit of a challenge without GPS.

"Excellent stay "

The Chilston Park hotel is an amazing hotel to say in. We got married there three years ago, and it meant a lot to go back there. Room, food everything is excellent. We received a warm welcome too. Would certainly recommend staying there.

"Beautiful setting enjoyed everything "

Had an amazing stay in this beautiful Manor House. Staff were very friendly and helpful, excellent service. The location is beautiful. Restaurant experience very good, very reasonably priced drinks and food in an amazing setting. Highly recommend.

"Not the luxury we'd hoped for. "

Room was large and bed was really comfortable with lots of pillows. For the price, it was underwhelming though, dated and not very special. The bathroom had an over bath shower which was OK, but as this was a special treat to celebrate my birthday and escape before lockdown, not really what we'd hoped for. Staff were excellent, but didn't make up for the fact that it wasn't up to what we expected. Pictures on website look much nicer. We have been promised some money back, but although a nice gesture , doesn't make it OK.

"Anniversary treat!"

It was our anniversary and we decided we want to treat ourselves to a luxury stay and we could not have made a better choice. It is a lovely hotel, with a warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere in a country house - the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the food is excellent. We were upgraded on arrival which was a lovely surprise and the room was beautiful and extremely comfortable. Will we return!!!

"No room in the restaurant for our one night stay"

Lovely spot, nice interiors. But on arrival, we were informed that we could not be accommodated in the dining room, due to numbers. I have very rarely had to pre-book a table in the hotel I am staying in. Perhaps that should be flagged-up when booking a room, if numbers look excessive.
