The Haycock Manor Hotel

From start to finish all the staff were incredibly friendly, professional and helpful. The courtesy calls before we arrived were one notch up from other places I’ve stayed. The bar/restaurants are furnished beautifully, with the food we ate in the evening being excellent. The village literally just outside the front door, with a nice quiet pub just across the road with a beautiful outside area at the back. Lovely weekend from start to finish. A definite stay for anyone reading this.

Lovely hotel, superb food and service.

Patio room needs updating, especially the french door threshold. The cleaning stuff shouldn't be hoovering corridors and adjusten rooms at 7.30am on Sundays. We were woken up too early by the cleaner noises. The were no instant coffees provided by the kettle (tea and hot chocolate only)

The staff were amazing from the moment I arrived. I had a patio room which was absolutely lovely. Clean, well equipped and an amazing shower. Every staff member I encountered was lovely, welcoming and helpful. Evening meal was fantastic and affordable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this beautiful hotel set in stunning grounds.

Room all clean and good size. Left bowls and blanket for dog. Big hotel. Bar area nice. Breakfast ok, bit crowded in that small room

why do hotels cgarge £25 for a dog staying? There seemed to be a fair amount of building work going on and mess in the grounds. There was a nice walk from my room down to the river but piles of rubbish down there

Lovely place. Couldnt be improved except for a tiny detail which is only 1 tea bag each so no tea for the morning but very trivial thing and all the good points outweighed the one tiny thing.
