Super friendly and helpful staff, lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Very clean and comfy room and super-tasty breakfast.

Breakfast was absolutely lovely but felt very busy with everyone squeezing into a couple of rooms at a similar time on a Sunday morning - ideally come nearer the start or end of service not in the middle!

This historical building has been sensitively and lavishly restored and furnished. We chose a garden room which, on a Sunday, was great value for such a superb setting. The bed was extremely comfortable with high quality bedding. The bathroom was lovely and the toiletries were gorgeous. We had a nice meal in the restaurant too. The members of staff were very welcoming and helpful. For us, the location was perfect as it makes a great stopover going from our home in the north to relatives in the south. The village is beautiful and the hotel grounds are very pleasant.

Staff were amazing, helpful smartly dressed and curious. We stayed for a family wedding and it was very well organised by the hotel. Beautiful venue in a wonderful village.

Attitude when we arrived a couple of hours early and was met with a receptionist who was not rude but was very abrupt with one word answers especially no. Showers had black mould 3 to 4 inches high in the corners probably due to no extraction in the bathrooms.
