Super location.

Poor vegetarian meal. Ordered a vegetarian roast expecting a nut roast. What I got was a slice of char grilled cauliflower to go with my roast vegetables. It was like 30 years ago when nobody New how to cater for vegetarians. Room was no better than a Premier Inn but over twice the price!

Location, heritage, finish

The refurbished en-suite facilities feel very poorly thought through, especially for female guests. There is no proper space for applying makeup or doing those final touches before heading out. The lighting is bad, mirrors are inadequate, and the overall design suggests very little consideration of real guest needs. It feels like a space designed from a male perspective, without enough thought for practicality.
