"Lovely hotel just a little disappointed"

We picked the Woodlands Park hotel as we had stayed at other Handpicked hotels and thought we would combine it with a trip to RHS Wisley. The hotel is lovely and we had no issues with our room which had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Just two little gripes that spoilt our stay. We booked a table in the Oak Restaurant and had a really lovely meal but people were constantly walking backwards and forwards through the dining room to the garden/bar while we were sitting eating, not what you expect when you advertise a 2AA Rosette restaurant. Our other issue was breakfast which was buffet style everything cooked and just left on the side. We were offered 3 other options but it wasn’t the breakfast cooked to order shown on your website. The staff were all very helpful and friendly but you could do with more than one waiter and one barman. Overall a little disappointed.

Staff were excellent, the room was excellent, breakfast in the room was excellent and the staff could not do enough. Special mention of one member of the bar staff on Sunday / Monday who wnet abouve and beyond, youg chap with a shaven head.
