Kydon The Heart City Hotel

Great hotel at a central location in Chania. The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff was very welcoming. And a large choice for breakfast.

Hotel has a very good location, in the city centre near Old Town, main bus Station and bus stops. There are lovely beaches nearbay. Everything is very close. I recommend this hotel. There was no Polish chanel in Tv. It was a little bit cold in the room (19.5°C)

We enjoyed our 4 nights stay at the Kydon very much. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean, breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and good quality. The hotel is in an excellent location within easy walking distance of both the old and new towns. What really makes this hotel special is the staff, they are all excellent, professional, friendly and helpful with nothing too much trouble. We would very much like to stay at the Kydon again at some point.

The hotel is located on the main road which separates the market/old town and the "new town" part of the city. It's the best choice if you want to easily experience old town, new town, and hop on a bus to tour the rest of the island. Reception and communal areas are good but can feel slightly cramped if a lot of guests are using the spaces at the same time - we didn't mind because staff are very friendly and helpful so you will be accommodated for if you need anything at all. Rooms were spacious, had good views and were clean for our 7 night stay. We really enjoyed it here and look forward to coming back!

El hotel está perfectamente ubicado al comienzo de las calles peatonales que llegan al puerto y el barrio comercial. El problema de aparcamiento lo solucionan brillantemente llevándote ellos el coche a un parking y entregándolo cuando necesitas. El desayuno excelente.

Solo un detalle que deberían de tener en cuenta. El hotel no tiene un baden para parar el coche y bajar las maletas. Hay que aparcar en un paso de peatones. Podrían avisarlo antes para evitar la confusión de llegar y no saber qué hacer con el coche hasta que salgan de recepción y se lo lleven al parking.

This is a great place to stay and a brilliant location. They have parking available which is great for the location and the staff cannot do enough to help you. The breakfast is second to none, the choice is amazing and always hot and fresh. The rooms are great however, if you are used to sleeping in darkness I’d recommend to bring something to cover your eyes. The reason why I mark this hotel down and not as 5 is because there is lights in the room that shine at night and we have to cover them. There is also light coming through the bathroom windows that back onto each other. The other thing I would say is that it can be quite noisy at night as rooms back onto one another. The overall experience was fantastic though and I’d recommend the location all day long.

Absolutely incredible stay at the Kydon Hotel. The hospitality and kindness my family and I received from the staff while staying at this establishment is unparalleled. -The rooms: large, spotless, and adorned with a balcony overlooking the sea and White Mountains. -Location: central, walkable distance to beaches/shops/restaurants/museums -Staff: generous, receptive, kind, and friendly (shoutout to Kiki at reception!) -The food: delicious, filling, variety of options, and the best complimentary breakfast I’ve ever eaten. Don’t be fooled by the 4 star rating, they are 5 stars through and through.
