"Nice weekend away"

Lovely historical hotel, a little bit tired in places but cannot complain for the price. Hotel was clean and service was fine. Great location for a weekend break. Only minor downside was we had a notification that there was no extra fee for the dog, but was then told it was £15 on the day. Not a huge issue however.

"Clean and spacious room ideal for exploring Shrewsbury"

It’s ideally suited to explore Shrewsbury as it’s in the centre of the town. Also has parking which is an additional benefit

We were next to the main road which was very nosy with the traffic and people talking. It was warm so we had to have the windows open which didn’t help

I liked the location

It was so outdated and the room, even with the windows open and the heating off, was super hot! This is because of the hot water pipes running through the hotel.
