Alta Peruvian Lodge

I love the atmosphere at the Peruvian! It really sets this property apart from others in the area. It has the feel of a European lodge. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. All the amenities are top notch: the in house ski shop is great, included meals are very tasty and well portioned, the pool and hot tub are great after a day on the slopes. Not to mention the P Dog bar is the best place to grab a drink in Alta. If you’re looking for a great atmosphere it a great location the Peruvian is the place for you.

The Alta Peruvian is where you meet people who have been coming here for decades. The mountain is great and the place is very convenient placed to make the most of it

Having stayed at the hotel for years, I can say that the quality of the food served has gone downhill over the past 5 years. The lodge still has its old world character however there has been little investment in the property. The location is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

As always, enjoyed our stay at The Alta Peruvian. Would recommend this location to anyone traveling to Alta.

Major repairs needed-my room didn't have working heat because of a bad pipe Misrepresented as ski-in ski-out. actually need to take a shuttle to get to ski bases

This is a no frills but charming lodge that oozes with personality. You are on the other side of a small parking lot from the lift. You can ski back to the lodge from runs off of Wildcat. You'll meet very interesting people during the communal meals. The food is solid. Not gourmet, but very good. If you're looking for rustic, old-school euro vibe and the best skiing in America, this is your place. Leave the apres-ski Mink Coat at home or for your next visit to Vail.

Not for everyone, but if you're a fan of minimal bedrooms and bells and whistles in favor of good location, good vibes, good value, and old school warmth, this place is for you. Plenty of good food (altho it used to be great) and a super social atmosphere,makes this a smokin deal.

The best place to stay in Alta: simple but adequate guest rooms, good food, friendly and helpful staff, terrific amenities and related facilities. What else could one hope for at the best ski area in the U.S..

Great traditional ski lodge.

The freindlyness of the guests and staff makes this place very inviting. There’s games,puzzles, meals all designed to help people interact with each other and create a family atmosphere. Most of the guests were regular visitors who have been coming back year after year for the great skiing and great hospitality
