Really great room, we had a suite. Thought the breakfast was lovely and really good value for money Lovely and quiet nights sleep.

the size of the room was ok

these days smart tv are non negotiable the tis in the suite we very old and wouldn't even allow mirroring .The room was old and in need of up dating , the bed was small for a suite the pillows were flat and uncomfortable

The suit was very spacious with its own private balcony very large bath and a sauna in the room

Not having an option to chose the size of the robes

Beautiful peaceful setting we enjoyed watching the wildlife on the lawn at meal times

My first impression of the hotel was very good from the outside, as it looked welcoming and well presented. The staff were friendly, kind, and approachable throughout my stay, which made me feel comfortable and valued as a guest. They were always polite and willing to help when needed, creating a warm and positive atmosphere

The breakfast fruit I would have preferred to be separate rather than mixed together in a bowl. The bedroom was big, which was good. The bathroom had a lovely large bath, but unfortunately the shower wasn’t working. I didn’t get time to report it until I left because we had to go out. The bottom of the toilet could do with bleach and a thorough clean as it was brown at the bottom, which didn’t look very nice. Overall, the hotel could do with redecorating and updating. If this was done, I would be happy to stay again. The carpets on the stairs were very worn and had different patterns, which looked untidy.

Great place to stay. Right on the doorstep to beautiful scenery. Great staff and food. Comfy bed and pillows. 3 pubs within walking distance if you don't mind going up hill on the way back, only for a short distance though. One of the pubs is a great Indian restaurant.
