Philly Inn & Suites

Stayed here for a couple of nights and really enjoyed it. The property was clean, parking was convenient, and the atmosphere felt safe and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again

There was already an irate guest alone in the lobby when I arrived to check in. Nobody at the desk to check me in. The gate to get into the parking garge wont open until they let you in. I began calling the hotel while standing in the lobby. no answer and it took 20 mins for someone to come. Parking garage is tiny. Also had broken glass everywhere in the parking garage. The room was nice for 1 night, but the "pillows" were more like pillow cases stuffed with old cotton balls. We only slept and showered here. We stayed out most of the evening. Upon check out there was an irate guest in the lobby complaining of bed bugs in their room. I feel lucky to have had a clean room and only needed to be there for less than 8 hrs. It was definitely overpriced.

Very clean. Private, secure parking. Nice view. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Air conditioning was very good, it was in the 90's during my visit.

There were no towel bars or hooks in the bathroom. I had to drape my towel on the toilet paper dispenser so I could reach it when my shower was done. There were only 2 pillows on the king size bed. There was only one wastebasket. Having a second one for the bathroom would have been nice. There were 5 hooks on a wall in the entry, but no bar to put hangers on so clothes could be properly hung. There was a nightstand on each side of the bed, but only one had a lamp. My room was never made up while I was out for the day. I was very tired so I didn't say anything. When leaving the next morning I mentioned it to the front desk person and asked that they make sure it was done that day. But when I got back after dinner no one had been there to make the bed or refresh towels, or bring more coffee pods. I called the front desk, and they sent someone up with towels but no coffee, and she didn't speak English and didn't understand what I needed. She left and another person came and I explained I'd like coffee pods for the morning, then the first woman came back with coffee pods. So it all turned out ok.

MooMoo tried to round up my check in rate bc he didn’t want to go get change. If you guys are going to allow us to check in with cash you guys needa make sure you have change, instead of trying to round up if simply keep it. This hotel still owes me $15 because the new girl made a mistake and no one has yet to correct it.

Affordable

Moomoo needa stop picking and chosen when he wants to do his job and when he doesn’t . You guys need to figure out a better way for the maids TO ACTUALLY CLEAN THE ROOMS. Especially the SECOND FLOOR. I will be starting to take pictures and videos and sending it management. It don’t take 3 ppl to clean one room just for it not to be clean.

The rooms were a great size, and the beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve slept on. It was located close to many restaurants and shopping areas. Check-in was smoother than expected
