Room size, pool area, lovely staff, great bed

Quiet and intimate on the intracoastal waterway, yet only a short walk from the main oceanfront. Spacious, modern, and well-appointed room right by the pool, and a few steps from parking (no waiting in elevator lobbies or at valet stands)-from room to street was, literally, seconds! Staff were attentive and accommodating, and the food excellent. In among the inevitable, enormous high-rise resorts of a popular beachfront city, this is a gem.

The location of this property on the water front is stunning. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant which we dined in several times and would highly recommend. Dislikes; The air conditioning in our room was very loud. Also, on our previous visits the sun beds had cushions on them, these have since been removed due to weather damage, making the beds very uncomfortable. For a SLH hotel I would have expected these to be replaced. Lots of building works happening in area but hopefully it won’t be long before these works are completed.

Beautiful Hotel, small and charming. Our room was well laid out and we found the staff super helpful. The view from the pool area was very impressive.

Thanks to all the amazing and considerate staff at the Pillars! My wife and I had another fantastic stay. Dinner at sunset on the dock is always a very special experience. I absolutely love the scallops. Thanks to Chef Hammi and his kitchen team and, as always, Carmen for looking after us in every possible way. Hope to be back soon.

What a fabulous gem of a hotel! Staff are amazing, the location is great and what a fab restaurant. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back.

I stayed for a week in November while attending a family member's wedding and I was impressed by the staff, service & food. All my needs were met and the hotel is exactly what I look for in a private getaway. I will be staying again the next time I am in Fort Lauderdale.
